2020 Petit Manseng
This medium-bodied wine has notes of apple, pear, melon, pineapple, and apricot on the nose. On the palate is a sparkling acidity and a burst of fresh-sliced citrus and pineapple with perfectly balanced sweetness and acidity, bringing to mind fresh honey drizzled over lemon curd.
2020 Viognier
This 100% varietal Viognier has lovely notes of melon, jasmine, peach, and cantaloupe on the nose. On the palate, the medium-bodied wine has a creamy mouthfeel with wonderful tropical banana fruit notes.
2020 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
This barrel fermented Chardonnay was made from grapes that were grown at various Virginia vineyards. It was made in the Old-World French style with neutral oak but no malolactic fermentation. It has notes of white flowers and banana on the nose that carry over to the palate, along with lime and white peach, and a silky mouthfeel that is crisp on the finish.
2020 Duet
A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, the 2020 Duet is ruby-colored and exhibits lush aromas of blackberry, vanilla, black cherry, and hints of forest floor. It is easy to pair with something casual, like pasta, pizza, burgers, or spaghetti; or, you can dress it up and serve it with a elegant dinner of beef or salmon.
2019 Tannat
This Tannat is a blend of 80% Tannat, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It features elements of earth, lilac, violet, and black fruit on the nose. They carry over to the palate with a rich intensity, medium high tannins, and notes of coffee.
2019 Rusticity
The third iteration of Rusticity is a blend of 67% Petit Verdot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has red fruit, cherry vanilla and roses on the nose with flavors of coffee, cocoa, and vanilla on the palate. This wine should age beautifully.
