August 2022 Discoverer’s Club Release

2021 Sauvignon Blanc
This refreshing Sauvignon Blanc is packed with lemon peel and starfruit, and laced with beautiful acidity. This wine was tank fermented, with no malolactic fermentation and partially aged in neutral oak barrels.

2020 Chardonnay Reserve
This wine has complexity that comes from the New World winemaking style. It was fermented in 40% new French oak, as well as second-, third- and fourth-fill French oak. Seventy percent of the wine underwent malo lactic fermentation. One whiff of the bouquet brings aromas of banana, a hint of cinnamon stick and green apple that also spill onto the palate.

2020 Cabernet Franc
This medium-bodied wine exhibits aromas and flavors of juicy raspberry, along with cherry, graphite, and plum. Great acidity makes this wine a natural pairing for vinegar-based barbeque sauces, smoked or grilled meats, and summer salads with beans or legumes.

2020 Piedmont Station
This Bordeaux-style blend is 43% Cabernet Franc, 39% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot, and shows a beautiful garnet color in the glass. On the nose, this blend offers baking spice aromas of clove and allspice layered over plum and black cherry. On the palate, blackberry notes are buttressed by a hint of vanilla and cigar box.
