2020 Aitheras

Formerly known as Mélange Blanc, Aitheras is the Greek word for pure air, which Aristotle described as the "fifth element of air in a continuous, circular motion.” Similarly, we strive for continual evolution and improvement. This light-bodied wine has perfumy white flowers and citrus aromas on the nose lemon peel and a clean finish. This is a blend of 60% Vidal Blanc from Williams Gap vineyard, near Round Hill, and 40% tank fermented and aged Chardonnay from Silver Creek vineyard in southwest Virginia.
