We released some new wines over Memorial Day weekend; our 2010 Mélange Blanc, an elegant easy drinking dry white blend of 62% Chardonnay, 27% Viognier and 11% Petit Manseng; our 2010 Rosé, an off-dry (0.9% residual sugar) blend of Cab Franc, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; and our 2010 Maggie’s Vineyard Viognier, an extremely flavorful off-dry (1.2% residual sugar) 100% varietal wine. We will also release our 2009 Cabernet Franc in July. We expect to bottle our 2010 Chardonnay and our 2009 Williams Gap in about a month and our 2009 Syrah and Tannat will be bottled in August. Meanwhile, our 2010 reds are developing nicely. These 2010s are big, extracted, flavorful and somewhat tannic reds which should age well. - Jim Dolphin, June 23, 2011
